Right from the very early stage of infancy, children are taught by parents how to distinguish right from wrong. Parents endeavor is to ensure that their children inculcate etiquette and moral virtues which will guide and teach them self- control, obedience and discipline. This illustrates the fact that discipline is imperative to the development of young children who will eventually become adults. Discipline means abiding by ,or adhering to , certain rules or norms of social life.
